common-courtesy
bismillah,
some people just do not have courtesy for others. or even, common sense. It is just so unthinkable that an akh would just stone-heartedly bill another akh's credit card, in a large amount, when the owner of the CC was just recently struck by a tragedy, and other ikhwah are struggling to raise fund for the said akh (the owner of the credit card). And the irresponsible billed it so high, exceeding the card limit, that the owner had to clear it first before using it to pay for the 'tragedy'.
And let me translate to you what this means: The card owner had to pay for the irresponsible's expenses, on top of what happened to him, and it was at the very moment when he crucially needs money, which the irresponsible was aware of. And the irresponsible's expenses happened to be MORE than what other ikhwah could collect, (which was a LOT, may Allah bless them for their effort), and that, doubles the blow.
When the card owner went to the irresponsible and asked for his rightful money, the irresponsible simply said, without apologizing, 'can you postpone making payments? I don't have any money'. When was the irresponsible planning to tell the CC owner that he had no money to pay the owner back??? Why didn't the irresponsible have enough courtesy to tell that to the owner BEFORE using the card? Isn't it just common sense to inform him beforehand that it wasn't merely a case of 'pinjamcreditcardkauakunakbayarsomethingonline' but also to borrow money? That way, he can judge and decide whether he can afford the headache. Isn't it just a fair thing to do?
Even if the billed money was used for da'wah purposes, maklamat tak halalkan cara, akhi.
And after more than half a year, the credit card owner still have not heard about any plans on making payments, or even a mention of what happened. Not even an apology, when the owner had to fork out his parents' money to pay for the tragedy he didn't ask for.
The CC owner have long ago stopped expecting for any payments, but you, dearest akhi, please STOP 'borrowing' from others, especially when you have no plans on how and when to pay them back. PLEASE, right now, go and pay ALL your debts. Please. You get monthly paychecks, how can you have the heart to even spend and buy more 'da'wah needs' when you still have debts from before? Please go and check your awla/priorities.
To have courtesy on others, is what I see lacking in almost all 'anak bongsus' or anak tunggal. To be precise, in every anak bongsus/tunggals I've known, except one.
May my adik-adik bongsus, adik-adik yang anak tunggal, and my future children will all be protected from this sifat mazmumah.

sejak walimah si A haritu, semuaaaa asyik tanya, when would be my turn?
saya sendiri tak tahu! i formulated an answer which i gave to everyone, "esok inshaAllah".
to which my uncle replied, oh so your sister maryam would be the day after tomorrow?
Adehh.
Anyhow, an ukhti's remark astonished me. she did not ask when am i planning to get married, but instead she just said some prayers may my turn be next. a makcik (also an ukhti) did the same thing too!
wah im so touched by their sensitivity and their faith in Allah! sbb memanglah, tanya aku pun, bukannya aku boleh jawab pasal benda yang ghaib (my future), baiklah doakan sahaja kan?
anyways, ive started to believe, that azwaj are rizq, tak dapat kat dunia, Allah reward kat akhirat nanti inshaAllah. :)
kerja dan hidup sahaja lillah, then let Him decide. :)

biological ties
bismillah,
baby bro: status daaa bekurun baru nak komen.....ketinggalan
me: dgn adik sniri takyah nak up to date sgt. tak lari mana.. :p
baby bro: hahaha....yelah...dgn adik x up to date....dgn org laen sntiaase update.....
when I first read his reply, I didn't feel a thing. well, an emotional remark coming out of a joker, who would take it seriously, aite?
Tadi entah macam mana terbaca lagi sekali conversation kami, and this time I could sense so many things between the lines. Agaknya mungkin juga pengaruh sangat terasa di anak dan di adik tirikan lately.
I probably am being overly sensitive about a small matter, but so what, I do not want him to feel what I felt.
Aku sayang adikku ini sama seperti aku sayang mutarabbi-mutarabbiku, and I want the same amount of khair for each and every one of them. Taknak seorang pun tercicir dalam api neraka. Nak semua selamat, dan masuk syurga sama-sama.
Huuu.
And I love my older bro the same way too.
Seriously.
If only someone would approach them. Please please o Allah.
I was thinking about these when I was doing my daily tilawah n tadabbur (TnT), pastu tersentak dengan ayat-ayat 19 : 3-5, 9.
[3]
[5]
Dan sungguh aku khawatir terhadap kaum kerabatku sepeninggalanku;
[9]
Allah berfirman: Demikianlah. Hal itu mudah bagiKu kerana sesungguhnya Aku telah menciptakanmu dahulu, sedang engkau pada masa itu belum ada sebarang apapun.”
No, I have never given up on you my blood brothers. InshaAllah, God willing, if I keep on praying to Him, he would make this wish of ours come true, as He has never disappointed any of His servants.
