told ummi of an akh's walimah, they put tabung gaza as the centerpiece at every table, and the fact that they managed to get rm6k++.

ummi: okay we can do that as well for your walimah, i definitely have contacts to ask for some official tabungs.

see, our parents or just anyone in the world, like khayr. they will support khayr. its fitrah. they want to do good deeds, n support islam. (though it may be of different organizations, but why not? they are not even aware of the different organizations. don't complicate the situation, make it easy for them. its all going to Allah too, right? ^__^) though i won't say the same thing about non-general ikhwah wa akhawat. u were raised in one jamaah, how can you work for another? ehehe.

that issue aside, back to the family issue:and i find by just telling them how others do it, will encourage them to do the same. because the will is already there, deep in their good hearts. you just have to simply show them the way, and they will inshaAllah do it. and it can be in these small little indirect ways, that will lead them back to tarbiyyah, and dakwah, and haraki inshaAllah. ^___^
