I havent wrote anything in here for so long. it's not that there is nothing to write, (there are plenty) but merely lack of motivation.

Still remember my 'son' Ibrahim? Received updates from him yesterday, and it really really made my day!

Seeing him (from afar) growing up is reaaaaallly something! And seeing that he has similar interests (football and computer, hey this is no coincidence, thank you Allah!!!) strengthened the bond, and for a second, I feel that he is actually my own. Lol. Sentimental much?

But it saddened me that he didn't write anything about the future. Why oh dear?

You want to become a syahid ey?

Anyways, please pray that this particular deed is accepted by Allah. If ibrahim is meant to be a syahid in the near future, I want sahams in it too o Allah. This is the closest I can imagine getting to the holy position of a martyr.

the other day i called home, and casually asked ummi what did she cook on that day. hesitantly, she replied, 'masak lemak ikan jenahak'.

when i called today, ummi was having breakfast, but before i had the chance to ask, she said, "dont worry, everything is what you can make on your own"

how thoughtful of ummi. heh~

Talked to kid#2,maryam this morning. Her latest ambition is to be a policewoman. I told her police officers do not earn enough money for a living, therefore she should become something else instead. I shouldn't have done that. I should just encourage her to be anything she wants to be n just work hard towards that. Well that is a lesson for next time.

of what can be achieved =); click the link below.

robbana hablana min azwajina wa zurriyatina qurrata a'yun. waja'alna lilmuttaqeena imama.

i recently realized that by reciting this du'aa, not only we are asking from Allah what we ask in the du'aa, but also to attain high rank in jannah, inshaAllah inshaAllah (refer 25:71-75).

bismillah,

lately, so many of my close friends and relatives were tested by Allah.

me: but she tells everyone about it ummi, how strong of her.
ummi: sometimes that is how people grief. they have to talk to people about it, so they tell everyone. however *** is diff, she can never talk about THE topic.
me: i can never talk about it either.
ummi: oh for me i have to.

after almost a year of clashes, and tension, only now i understand what caused it. ummi had to let it out, therefore that was the only thing she talked about when she talks to me. as for me, i cannot talk about it at all.

ummi continued talking about it, and i continuously wasn't able to withstand the pressure. until at one point a friend who got to know about it (she was the first person to know because i broke down in front of her post-talking to ummi) forbade me from calling home during final exams period.

it was that bad. and only now i understand the simple logic behind it. Allahu Akbar.

so many things to write about, but lack of motivation. sorry dear blog.

bismillah,

only a week after touchdown, I wanted to sleepover at my naqibah's house(shared with many other sisters). So in order to make my mum pleased, I tidied the whole house to an extreme, did everything I can so that she can not complain one single thing, and will be pleased with me, hence getting Allah's redha.

That was the sole intention.

I left the house, feeling proud of myself.

Only to receive a call from her just a few hours after that, saying she was very upset with me for I didn't take out coconut milk that she wanted to use (I wasn't told to).

Yes I know, it is the intention, and the effort that matter. But I was very disappointed, and I talked to her about it a few days after that, when she was in a good mood.

You know what did she say about it? "Oh I'm preparing you for your mother in law".

I couldn't help but laugh. Sigh.

bismillah,

whenever i talk abt him to ppl, i would always describe him as someone who is very quiet and distant from the family. dont get me wrong. we were very close. extremely close. until one day he went to boarding school and came back as a man, and no longer a boy. that changed everything.

so that was what i think of him, until recently. i just realized, he does make effort to be a dear brother to me. it is me, who distanced myself away from him.

whenever he says something to me, it is me who doesnt reply, merely because i do not know what to say. and the jokes he makes, go by without me laughing at them.

however, i seriously do not remember the last time he was this nice to me. dear sel, do not ruin things.

oh Allah, thank you for this opportunity. i do love him sincerely for the sake of Allah. please please make us go to jannah together.
