ok lets write more serious posts.
after what had happened happened, i went immediately to find the magic pink book by pak cah; 'di jalan dakwah aku menikah'. First encountered the book in 2007, was not interested in it until very recently. And I think it did me good, i.e. to read it only when you have keperluans. Otherwise, it would just create angan-angan panjang, whilst we have so many other things to strive on (misi UA, etc).
The book is really practical. And amongst the things that I find extremely useful are:
- do a SWOT analysis whether or not you should accept a candidate at that time
- enhance your financial management skills, by practising on keeping a good record of your spendings and incomes
- enhance your social skills, as when you get married you have to be able to independently interact with the society, no more berkepit with parents at social gatherings.
